Laguna Hills, CA (August 4, 1995). Allegria Software (formally known as ATC) has announced two new members of its ForReview software product family that set unprecedented levels for market value. The products, dubbed ForReview Lite Express and ForReview Lite, come in either a Standalone Version which can be downloaded for free from Allegria's homepage (http://www.allegria.com) or a Network Version with full integration capabilities which can be purchased for $99. Other raster view and mark-up products currently on the market are typically priced as high as $300. Because both ForReview Lite products share the same feature-rich user interface as Allegria's CAD-oriented, vector-capable ForReview offering, they give users and system administrators a single, scaleable family of products that can be deployed to meet view and mark-up needs throughout the enterprise.

According to Bob Bruns, President at Allegria, "With ForReview Lite, users can easily 'image enable' their shared workflow throughout local and wide area networks, including the Internet. By accessing a shared document via the network, a ForReview Lite user can use all of our proven mark-up tools and then simply email the mark-ups to other users who have access to the same original document. It's a perfect vehicle for conducting geographically dispersed concurrent-engineering sessions or even for sharing documentation and design information between corporate partners over networks and the Internet. And because we have made the Network Version of ForReview Lite 'integration-ready' it is a snap to link it with applications such as Microsoft Mail, Win/Fax software or with any Web browser."

Both versions of ForReview Lite and ForReview Lite Express provide an ideal view and mark-up capability for individual Internet users and for Small Office Home Office (SOHO) proprietors as well as fitting perfectly with the enterprise-wide strategies required by larger organizations.

In the enterprise, ForReview Lite can be deployed in conjunction with Allegria's current ForReview products which support over 100 drawing and document formats including those used by major office and CAD applications. The ForReview architecture allows for easy integration into enterprise-wide EDM/PDM systems such as Documentum and Autodesk's Workcenter. The highly-configurable user interface adapts easily for both non-technical users and demanding power-users so that system administrators only have to deploy and support a single view and mark-up product throughout the enterprise.
