New Key Features in ForReview 3.4 Include:
New AutoCAD R14 support: This release provides full support for AutoCAD R14, thereby enabling Windows desktop users throughout the enterprise to access and comment upon AutoCAD document files regardless of the originating version of AutoCAD used to create the documents.
PostScript and tiled TIFF support: Now supports both PostScript and tiled TIFF formats. Upgraded STL support: STL support has been expanded to include new buttons for zooming, panning, measuring and cross-sectioning. Cross sections can be created by selecting any two points or defining a cutting plane by selecting any three points.
Updated office document support: Upgraded support for office documents such as for headers, footers and pagination of word processing documents has been included, as well as improved HTML and PowerPoint support.
Side-by-side compare: ForReview 3.4 has enhanced its compare functionality by adding a side-by-side compare feature that simultaneously displays all opened drawings in equally sized view windows. This complements the unique industry-leading raster-compare feature already present within ForReview.
Upgraded “out-of-box” integration with EDM/PDM systems: This release expands upon Allegria’s strong partnerships with leading EDM/PDM system vendors by simultaneously releasing a full range of “out-of-box” upgraded ntegrated versions for ForReview 3.4 that are optimized for specific EDM/PDM systems. Accessing the vault and workflow can now be performed without need for the EDM/PDM client to be open on the desktop.
Save Mark-ups in DXF format: Now ForReview mark-ups can be saved as DXF files. These can be imported back into AutoCAD or any other application that can read the DXF format.
New Bookmark feature: A user can now bookmark both the current view for a drawing or picture, or the view within a drawing for later recall. Areas of interest can be easily and quickly accessed. Bookmarks can also be retained from one session to another.

ForReview 3.4 is designed to allow users to easily access, review, print and mark-up documents throughout a heterogeneous computing environment, without the expense and support hassles of deploying the originating applications to every desktop. Documents may reside on the desktop, network or in an EDM/PDM vault.
